AFFA - Features Duplicate Link Removal Link lists are often abused by Spammers who submit the same link over and over again, or list every URL on their site. The AFFA link page will automatically reject ALL multiple submissions of the same URL. The AFFA can also limit submissions to one URL per directory. This will prevent the posting of multiple copies of the same page such as index1.htm, index2.htm ... index1000.htm. Content Filters AFFA has number of optional filters which can help manage the type of links displayed on your page. It can detect and reject links to objectionable material such as adult sites, MLM marketing scams, titles with offensive language etc. It can prevent SHOUTING by rejecting links with UPPER case titles and descriptions. It can restrict submissions to URL's related to a specific topic only. Link Checking Often users make a typing mistake when entering their URL and do not notice until it is too late. Your AFFA page can automatically check the validity of all submitted links and reject all BAD links. Link Maintenace The AFFA script can be configured to maintain your link list and make sure that it remains of reasonable size. If the number of links reaches a defined maximum, the oldest entry will be removed when a new link is added. The AFFA can also limit the link page size. If the maximum size is exceeded, the oldest links will be removed. Email Autoresponder AFFA has an option that will allow each submission to be confirmed with an automatic email message.
