This page will guide you through the installation of the Sharit on your system, the upgrade to the FULL version, and how to install and new script upgrades. Installing the Program File 1. Download the latest version of Sharit if you have not done so already. 2. Execute the setup file 'shrit202.exe' downloaded in Step (1). 3. Follow the step-by-step setup instructions and complete the program installation.. Upgrading to the FULL version 4. Download the Full version upgrade file. (This is also referred to as the script upgrade) 5. Execute the script upgrade file 'sh_script.exe' downloaded in step (4). 6. When prompted for a 'Password', you will need to enter the Install Password. This password was emailed to you either in the latest upgrade notification, or it came with your registration. If you have lost the password, use the lost registration form. 7. If you have changed the default installation directory in step(3), you will need to make sure that you install the script upgrade to the same directory when prompted for an 'Install Directory' path. If you have not changed the default, just click the FINISH button to complete the upgrade. 8. Start Sharit 9. Look for a REGISTER button on the Sharit main screen. If it is not there, the installation is complete, otherwise go to step(10) 10. Click on the REGISTER button on the main Sharit Screen. 11. Enter your registration name and serial number and click OK. If you get a 'missing components' message, the script upgrade was not installed correctly and you will need to repeat step (5) making sure you install the upgrade into the same directory as the program file. 12. Exit & Restart the program. Installing a Script Upgrade Submission scripts are what make Sharit work. These are changed frequently and you will need to upgrade your copy of Sharit from time to time if you wish to keep it at its optimum perfomance level. If you have just finished installing the program (steps 1 - 12 above), you do not need to continue as you already have the current scripts installed; otherwise follow the instructions below: 13. Download the latest script upgrade. 14. Execute the script upgrade file 'sh_script.exe' downloaded in step (13) above. 15. When prompted for a 'Password', you will need to enter the Install Password. This password was emailed to you either in the latest upgrade notification, or it came with your registration. If you have lost the password, click here. 16. When prompted for a 'Installation Directory', you will need to enter the Sharit directory where the program is installed on your system and click FINISH. 17. The upgrade is complete. Check the Script version number in the About Dialog from the HELP menu to verify that the script has been installed correctly. |
